Body Atlas. Expedition to the intestines

What do hormones look like? Would would digestion sound like, if it were music? And how did the appendix get its name? With vorschlag:hammer, we head on a research expedition into the human body. The spectacular microscopic processes that take place in us every day, and go mostly unnoticed, are scrutinised and magnified on stage.  

On the basis of comprehensive research with body experts, the group vorschlag:hammer, specialists in bizarre and complex contexts, has developed a play together with actors from the Schlosstheater Moers. This reveals a colourful spectacle of body phenomena: a curious, modern form of visual theatre. But how politically organised is the concept of the body itself? What do our bodies tell us about the society we live in?
