World Dance Salon

In this series of meetings we have the opportunity to combine our personal background and history into a shared experience.

We will be showing each other the dances of our childhood, youth and from happy times in order to put them into the perspective of an artistic practice. We invite you to move your body to its own rhythms and share them with the group. You can choose the way you want to share: You can move, narrate, draw, or show something from another source.

We will then learn your dance and transform it together into a small choreography based on the dances shared. Take a few hours each month to spend time with others, share memories, have new experiences, and get to know your body in a different way.

Feel free to invite your friends, cousins, neighbors, and anyone else who loves to move!

Afterwards we'll have the option of sharing a meal together to extend the experience.
