Light in Babylon

A celebration of cosmopolitan sounds from the eastern Mediterranean – that is what the concert from Light in Babylon on 26. July promises to be. Musical traditions from Istanbul melt together with Iranian sounds and the songs of the Sephardic jews. The adventurous Quintet picks unabashedly from multi-layered musical traditions and presents a refined arrangement and creative fusion of haunting melodies.
