Echoes: Personal immigrant Narratives

In this project, the participants of the Silent University Ruhr women's empowerment network bring their life stories to life on stage. In regular meetings, the women write their texts, revise them and present them to each other. The texts are then turned into small productions. Instead of a traditional reading, the scenes are told with a mixture of rituals, humour and drama. In this staged reading, the women invite the audience to intimate moments from their lives, in which personal struggles, triumphs and unique personalities become clear. At the final event on 8 December 2024, the audience will be able to experience the story of each author in a lively and touching way.

Eine Abschlusspräsentation der Texte in Form einer szenischen Lesung findet am Sonntag, den 8.12. im Rahmen von Weihnachten rund um die Welt - ein Fest für alle statt. Der Eintritt ist frei.
