Political participation of immigrants in germany

Many people flee politically repressive systems and come to Germany seeking peace. These migrants often face transition problems moving from authoritarian regimes to a democratic system. Political participation can seem intimidating & overwhelming as many believe politics is only for society's elite. To address these challenges, the Silent University Ruhr is hosting an event to introduce the German political system and explain local participation opportunities for migrants. The event features a panel discussion with politicians from the Green, CDU, and SPD parties. Your participation is welcome!
