Die Schulwahl leicht gemacht

This project supports parents with a migrant background and young people in gaining a better understanding of the German school system, so that they can make informed decisions about educational pathways and vocational training. Through culturally sensitive advice and practical information, the project promotes participation, self-confidence and long-term educational success.
The project is delivered through interactive workshops, information sessions and individual counselling services, which take place at easily accessible locations within the local community.
With the help of multilingual materials, role models from the communities and practical activities, families are supported in learning about different educational pathways, recognising their strengths and making confident decisions about their academic and vocational future.
