WIRzusammen! Von Chören, Schwärmen und der Kunst des Kollektiven

The Ringlokschuppen Ruhr is turning 30 this year! And we want to celebrate this milestone with you. Under the motto WIRzusammen! – Of choirs, swarms and the art of the collective, which will accompany us throughout the entire season, the programme includes performances, parties, participatory formats and much more.

The entire weekend will be dedicated to collective experiences: Together we will watch FUTURE NOISE, a haunting choir performance by young artists from Scenic Research under the direction of Marta Górnicka. Afterwards, our long-time companions CocoonDance invite you to CHOREIA – Ein Polyballett (A Polyballet) to experience the space between stage and audience in a new way.

Of course, a proper birthday party is a must! With cake, karaoke, party games and everything else that goes with it. On Saturday, the transcontinental city walk What has happened to the river? by LIGNA and Avant Scène will connect the cities of Mülheim and Yaoundé. The interactive panel discussion Table Talks – Discourse in Bite-Sized Pieces will bring together personal and political topics over good food. The weekend will conclude with a special night-time event: a sleeping concert with ambient music by rsn and light art by Robin Moedder.
