NO FUTURE CLUB
Jascha Sommer
A small ark for the present
Imagine a place that knows no tomorrow. A place where you don't have to think about your future. A place where no one expects anything from you, but from which you should not expect too much either. A place where you forget to make plans, design projects or make predictions. A place of relief, with no prospect of cure. This place is the No Future Club.
The No Future Club is a temporary sculpture in the garden of the Ringlokschuppen. Behind a pink curtain, performer and project maker Jascha Sommer sits and spends a week in the self-imposed now. He lives on the upper floor of the sculpture, chants mantras, sits cross-legged and makes tea. He has no reception and yet looks forward to your visit. If you would like to spend some time with Jascha in the No Future Club, you can register for it by phone. The number will be published here on 1 June. Call and book your slot.
