One of the most remarkable episodes of the Truck Tracks Ruhr, sent on their journey by Rimini Protokoll 2016 in collaboration with the Ringlokschuppen Ruhr and Urbane Künste Ruhr, is by Amirhossein Mashaherifard. In a multi-layered manner, he intertwined the real-life location of the red-light zone between Mülheim and Duisburg with the murder of prostitutes in Tehran. Amirhossein Masherifard is a young artist from Iran who studied there at the renowned Soore University. In recent years, he has been a member of the Scenic Research Program at the Ruhr University Bochum. His inter-disciplinary final thesis will be produced in 2019 as a co-production with the Ringlokschuppen Ruhr.
