The Impulse Showcase will show outstanding work from the last season in cooperation with the FFT Düsseldorf at various Düsseldorf venues. Ringlokschuppen Ruhr is the venue for this year's Impulse Academy.

What are currently the big topics being tackled by free theatre? Where's the scene heading? This year, participants from theory and practice will address the self-optimisation of the free theatre scene and the freedom of art and threats to its continued existence, including appropriation and its deceptive claim to universality.
