Dance meets martial arts, sublime aesthetics meet the culture of war, high culture meets popular movement culture. In the new piece by CocoonDance, the centuries-old tradition of Thai boxing meets the romantic ballet of the early 20th century. CocoonDance is one of the most exciting contemporary dance companies in Germany. Since its founding, the group has created 35 productions, travelled across five continents and was twice invited to Tanzplattform, the most important performance show for contemporary dance and choreography in Germany.
