Das HUNDERTPRO FESTIVAL reißt die Grenzen der üblichen Programmsparten ein und bringt auch dieses Mal wieder als Diversitäts-Beschleuniger des Ringlokschuppen Ruhr Menschen und Kunstformen zusammen, die ansonsten üblicherweise nicht zusammenfinden. Mit Theater und Performance, zeitgenössischen Tanz, Comedy, Videokunst und Spoken Word gibt es auf vier Bühnen jenseits der gewohnten Sehgewohnheiten viel zu entdeckten – für jede*n! Entgegen der üblichen Einteilung des Publikums in „Hochkultur“- und „Popkultur“-User*innen sehen hier auch Theaterliebhaber*innen Comedyshows und Comedyfans Performance und Tanz. Das HUNDERTPRO atmet lebendige Erfahrung statt kulturindustrieller Publikumssortierung. Und das Ganze darf gerne als gesellschaftliche Metapher verstanden werden, meinen wir!
Denn wir leben ja bekanntlich im Zeitalter der gesellschaftlichen Spaltungen. Das erzeugt Sprach- und Beziehungslosigkeit wo Vermittlung, Austausch und vielleicht auch Reibung und Konfrontation nötig wären. Kulturell, sozial und politisch wird der Dialog von unterschiedlichen Positionen und Perspektiven zunehmend schwieriger. Betont wird Identität und Differenz, die oftmals dahinterliegenden Gemeinsamkeiten können so nicht mehr entdeckt werden. Hinter dem Vakuum dieser gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen diffundiert es aber weiter. Wo sich Milieu-Blasen in sich selbst stabilisieren, Wärme, Togetherness und Bestätigung spenden, destabilisiert sich Gesellschaft als größerer Zusammenhang insgesamt.
Wir bleiben mit dem HUNDERTPRO fluide in Dialog und Spannung. Unterhaltsam und ungemütlich, faszinierend und konfrontativ, „Hoch- und Popkultur“ zugleich, finden im Gegensätzlichen notwendige Voraussetzungen für die Gestaltung von Diversität.
Wie das alles in der Praxis genau funktioniert, wie viele Widersprüche dabei auszuhalten sind und was sich im nächsten Jahr alles beim Festival verändern wird … Das wissen wir so genau auch noch nicht. Das finden wir heute zusammen raus. Oder zumindest fangen wir jetzt damit an.
