Odyssee - Musik der Metropolen

Four venues in the Ruhr valley play host to these concerts every summer to what has now become one of the best frequented Festivals for global music. The Festival ODYSSEE: Music of the Metropolises, financed and transmitted across the world by WDR COSMO, will stage twelve magical concerts with vibrant music. This year will host charismatic bands that not only provide pulsating crossover beats but also have taken a courageous stand against discrimination, racism and violence – with powerful sounds, hypnotising rhythms, ingenious fusions. Urban sounds for the senses - as always open air and for free.
